Using Rubicon to Improve Outsource Partner Communication
Rubicon from Indigo BioSystems allows sponsors to interact with CROs at both the live phase and bioanalytical stages of a study.
Rubicon provides a centralized, secure location to exchange data of any type including raw instrument data in open data formats.
Protocols can be uploaded from sponsors, executed and modified by study directors at the live phase CRO, and then accessed by the bioanalytical CRO when the study samples are received.
Sponsors can review study reports and data files as they are collected by the CRO. Issues with assays can be investigated using actual raw data (not just PDFs or images). Reviews can be conducted electronically rather than using paper, FAX or images pasted into documents.
The system allows an unprecedented amount of transparency between the CROs and the sponsors and can help ensure that the data on which critical decisions are based is valid. The data remains accessible for the life of the project, and ideally, the life of the new drug product.
